Hotel operator's business saved

In 1996, after a decade of bad will between a landowner and our client--the operator of a Berkeley landmark, the Hotel Shattuck--this major commercial real estate dispute went to trial before a jury...twice. The Jelinek law firm won both verdicts, in what Judge Demetrios Agretelis of the Alameda County Superior Court stated was "an exhaustively prepared, vigorous, indeed combative trial."

Our client was awarded $468,820 in fees; an additional $181,657 for our client will be determined at a later date.
